Another Year Begins.....

               After much preparing & online shopping all the books were picked out & ordered.  Another year of homeschooling was set to begin in Venezuela.  I would like to give a HUGE amount of thanks to Darla Harvey, the pastor's wife at First Assembly of God in Raleigh, for receiving our books.  Also a big round of applause goes to the AIM team that came to work with us in early August for bringing all of our books into the country.  Homeschooling is a nice option to have, but getting the books in to where you are is sometimes a challenge.  We are so thankful for all of those that contributed to make it possible for our kids to have what they needed for this school year!

Moving right along, Monday began the school year for the Nelson boys.  They all had a great day & I was pleased with how well the books were working that I had spent so long picking out.  Our 4th grader, Isaiah, is growing so much physically!  I look forward to this year being a year of not only physical growth, but also spiritual & emotional growth  for him.  Ian is our 3rd grader.  He has the most energy of any of the Nelson 5.  He is one smart little fella, especially where numbers are concerned.  Imanuel is our newest student.  He is our "Big Boy Kindergartner."  He is excited about school & likes doing things like his big brothers.  I am looking forward to a great year!  Please keep us in your prayers as we tackle another year of learning.
