It is hard to believe that 9 years have passed since the birth of our oldest son, Isaiah. It seems like just yesterday we were holding this very tiny little baby (he was 5 lbs. when we brought him home!) So much has happened in our lives over the past 9 years.... working as youth pastors in Gibsonville, the birth of Ian, Chris being deployed for over a year, Imanuel's birth, our approval as missionaries & itineration, a year in Costa Rica learning spanish, and a year here in Venezuela! Life has a way of moving by so quickly! We have been blessed to have Isaiah in our lives! He is truly a blessing to our family. He loves to build & do things with his hands. He is a lover of all people just like his Daddy. He will try just about any new foods & he loves to travel & go on adventures with his Dad. He has the tender heart of a pastor even at the young age of 9. We are excited to see the amazing things that God has in store for Isaiah over the next 9 years & beyond.
We were excited to spend Isaiah's birthday at a local swimming pool with some great friends. Who would have thought that a March baby from NC would have ever got to have a pool party?! He even got the bicycle he had been asking for thanks to the help of many special family members who wanted his day to be special too. Pictured is Mr. Cool on his bike complete with new sunglasses & hat that were gifts from his brothers. We love you Isaiah.... Happy Birthday!
