Renewal

Life has been full speed ahead for the past several weeks!  We had the opportunity to see many wonderful friends as we attended Missionary Renewal hosted by Assemblies of God World Missions.  This annual event is specifically designed to minister to missionaries that are returning home from their term overseas.
     This time of renewal was especially refreshing for our family in light of the craziness we have been dealing with over the past several months.  An added bonus for us was arriving a few days early to support our Missionary Associates as they were commissioned at the end of their training time just before Renewal began.  Scott & Charity Smith (and the 5 Smith kids), & Tech Carpenter are both currently itinerating & we are looking forward to when we all arrive in Venezuela together! Also pictured are our fabulous Regional Directors for Latin America & the Caribbean, Dick & Cynthia Nicholson & our Area Directors for the Andean Area, Ray & Wanda Talley.
     We also had the chance to be there with our dear friends Ashley & Meredith Penley (& their 3 little ones) as they were commissioned a week later as Missionaries to Ecuador.  It was quite the proud moment for NC as God is calling many people to reach the lost all over the world.

     We were so thrilled to have a chance to share a little time with our District Missions Directors, Chad & Darla Harvey & our District Superintendents, Charles & Eloise Kelly.  Having a great leadership team backing you at home gives you the confidence necessary to make it when living overseas.  We are blessed & privileged to be from NC!
