We were very excited to visit my family in NC. My brother, Phillip, & his family have all been working as student ministries pastors for several years in Idaho. Up until our visit, it had been almost 3 years since we had seen them. That is a long time in "Big People" years... but in "Little Kid" years... that is an eternity! The boys had such a wonderful time visiting with everyone, especially their cousins, Amber & Anna. It is amazing how God gives us those special opportunities to see our family & be connected even when we live thousands of miles away. I think those little breaks makes us more effective where we are working. My brother & his family are waiting on God for their next step in ministry, but regardless of where they go... we will always be thankful for the times when we get to be with them as well as the rest of our family.
