After 2 weeks of ministry with our visitors from the states, Chris & Isaiah loaded up with our friends to take them on the long journey back to Caracas so they could fly home. After getting everyone safely to the airport Chris was driving back but this time through Caracas because he had an appointment in the city. The traffic there is crazy & trying to find where to go can be even crazier. Unfortunately for Chris, he rear-ended someone in the crowded streets. He was so frustrated since he had never been responsible for a wreck in his life. Dealing with the police in another country in a language that is not your own can be unnerving but God was truly there & after lots of talking & negotiating... Chris was able to leave. Isaiah on the other hand was a nervous wreck since he was sitting in the truck the whole time. We were blessed to have a strong Speed The Light vehicle that handled the bump up in style. Chris left after this experience & headed to a Drug Rehab center that he was helping with resources. As Christians it seems that when you are trying to do the will of God & help others, little interruptions often pop up to distract us. We are thankful that even though there were distractions, Chris & Isaiah were able to still accomplish the ministry that needed to be done. Thanks for all of those that pray for our family. You never know what is happening down here when God quickens your heart to pray!
