Part of the reason for this blog is to update everyone on our life as missionaries. The other reason for this blog is to update you about our kids & remind everyone that we are still a family with the same kinds of messes & spills as other families. I was laughing the other day because a friend of mine in Sudan was sharing that she & I had similar daily experiences. In the past 2 weeks I have cleaned more spills, swept up more crumbs, cleaned hot pink nail polish off of my toilet, bathroom floor & sink and squeegeed LOTS & LOTS of water out of my house because one of the boys was fascinated that when you sit on the side of the pool... water gushes out! My 3 little missionary kids can cause hours worth of clean up in only a 5 minute time span. Just as I was questioning my abilities to maintain order in the midst of this chaos I was reminded that others have these same problems & messes. We are blessed with our 3 boys & considering the amount of transition they have endured... I think they are doing well. And have no fear... I am saving these stories for a later date. I am sure I will need them again as they grow up!
