About a year ago Chris had a dream about a few baby kittens that were trapped in the back of his car. When he opened the trunk to let them out a huge snake jumped at them at if he was going to eat them. Chris grabbed the kittens & moved them to safety. Then he turned & killed the snake. The dream was very graphic & it was at that time he felt the Lord speak to him about helping the pastor in Pavia. Over a year had past & we were sitting in the church in Pavia while Chris gave a leadership training workshop to their leaders. As he was praying, 2 kittens appeared from literally nowhere. He finished the prayer & one of the leaders was going to throw the kittens out. I spoke up & reminded Chris of his dream. He began to cry as he explained the dream to the church leaders in Pavia. After the explanation, more praying & crying began. How amazing that God used these 2 tiny, malnourished kittens to touch all of our hearts as we were preparing for the team that was coming to minister to hundreds of children & teenagers. Sometimes even adults can learn from a simple object lesson.
And if you are wondering what happened to the cats..... yes, they are now living in my back porch with our 2 bunnies. But now that they are healthy & much bigger, we are looking for a new home for them.
