Panama, Missionaries, & an Iguana

The month of April was jammed pack full of events.  Chris spent a week in Panama for a big Mission's Congress.  Venezuela was proud to have the largest representation of all of the latin countries.  It was an amazing time of planning, resourcing, & vision casting for all of the missions departments in Latin America.
Chris returned Monday morning at 10 am & we were in the car by 11 am on our way to another meeting.  This meeting was with the other Assemblies of God missionaries here in Venezuela along with our wonderful Area Directors.  It was nice to connect with the other missionaries all at once.  Our boys had a chance to hang out & swim while we met for meetings & times to share.  Swimming is always a winner with our boys since it usually happens few & far between.  Some how after the event was almost over I realized that I only had a few photos.  I have included the most interesting picture here.  I would like to introduce you all to Señor Iguana.  These scaly critters are all over Latin America much like we see squirrels back home.  They are more prevalent in the coastal areas but occasionally we see them in the city too.   The boys are fascinated by them.  Isaiah likes them, Imanuel looks from a distance, but Ian is completely creeped out because he is afraid that he will be attacked.  However I think that if Ian got too close to Señor Iguana.... it would be the iguana that would be afraid & run first!!!
