One of the best parts of our journey home was getting to see my brother's 2 daughters, Amber & Anna. It has been over 2 years since we have seen them & in kid years... that's a LONG time! It was great to celebrate Anna's 8th birthday with her this year. She is such a sweet heart with lots of energy. She is a mixture of a princess & a tom-boy all rolled up into one. We are enjoying this time with both she & her sister. It is nice to see their parents too I suppose! (ha... that is only for my brother's benefit). Being in ministry is awesome. The hard part is being apart from those you love. God has been kind to us in allowing us special moments like these to bond & share with our families. It is such an important time for our children to make memories with our loved ones. We would like to take this opportunity to tell Anna.... HAPPY BIRTHDAY! She is one very loved little lady!
