Today marked a very special day in the world! Chris Nelson turned 35!!!!!
Who would have ever thought, just 35 years ago that the little baby born in Johnston County, NC would grow up to not only serve his country during war, but later to be a missionary living in Venezuela?
Who would have ever imagined that that little boy would one day make such a radical impression on the world by impacting 1 nation, that would in tern impact hundreds of nations for the gospel of Jesus?
Who would have thought that he would later have 3 sons of his own?
And who would have ever fathomed that in spite of innumerable bad circumstances & wrong choices that God would still be there & would still keep his hand on this young life because He had a plan & a purpose far greater than anyone could ever dream?
God saw 35 years ago what would happen to that little boy & he walked with him through it all. Now the only question is... What does God see today? What plans does he have for that little boy now? Only God knows of the awesomeness that will encompass the next 35 years, but I am blessed that I will be along with him to find out!
