What a Weekend!

So my husband is off on an adventure of his own.  He is speaking at a leader's retreat about 8 hours away.  This time we opted to keep the kids home because we new the schedule would be crazy.  So far in the midst of quite a bit of rain, I have refereed 362 fights (seriously not an exaggeration), made chocolate chip cookies & homemade stromboli, cuddled with sweaty boys, played  a crazy amount of wii sports, answered lots of emails & worked on necessary computer work, & calmed down a child who competed in a neighborhood tennis competition & lost!  One thing is for sure, I will be happy to see my husband when he returns!  If this is half of the weekend, Lord only knows what is in store for the upcoming week!  But so is the story when you are a Mom.  I will leave you with my favorite quote from today.....  "You are meaner than a volcano erupting lava!".....
