Look at those Eyes!

The other night we were taking some photos for a project I was working on.  Chris happened to snap a photos of Imanuel & I.  He is quite the little charmer, but is slowly going into the phase of not wanting photos.  I was quite pleased when I saw this one.  I actually looked descent (which is rare) and his eyes were perfect & priceless!  How amazing it is that eyes can be so impacting.  Truly, you can see into someone's soul by their eyes.  If they are happy or sad, excited, or shocked... all is detectable by looking into their eyes.

     My boys have dark chocolate, almost black colored eyes.  It comes from Chris's Latin roots.  Even the fair haired Imanuel has deep, dark eyes.  Yet by looking into the eyes of each of my boys I can tell what they are thinking, how they are feeling, if they are hurt, or simply up to mischief!  I hope I will always be willing to stop & take a look at the eyes of those we meet.  We see lots of eyes in the jobs we do.  Eyes filled with joy, eyes filled with pain, many eyes that are tired, & even some that are barely opened at all.  But God knows the heart of each of these individuals & he loves them all the same.  Lord help us to see into the eyes of those we meet so that we too can see their heart & soul & share with them the love of Jesus!
