Many of you know that we homeschool. I try to make as many days fun & exciting as possible. We celebrate many holidays & Groundhog Day is no exception. I told the boys about the holiday we looked online to see what the predicions were for all of the famous groundhogs around the world. Of course, the most famous by far is good ole' Punxsutawny Phil. However according to him.... many of you back home will be enduring 6 more weeks of winter! On the bright side... we are in South America. My children's favorite quote from the movie "Up" is... "It is South America... It's like America, but it's South!" Good thing for us, south also means warmer weather. Pictured here are our 3 little groundhogs posing with the special critters they made to celebrate the day. Even though Imanuel insist that they are called "warthogs!"
