Twas the Night Before Elections...

Twas the night before elections & all through the house,

Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse!

Well... I wish I could stay no mice were stirring, but I would be wrong! At least since our friend Leo came I have not been greeted by the creatures when opening my cabinets! I am trying to consider that a blessing even though I know they are still lurking around at night!

okay.... focus Angela!

Tonight, we sit in our house enjoying time as a family.  As many others, we await tomorrow's elections here in Venezuela. The refrigerator is full & the cabinets are stocked.  All is settled in case we are home for an extended amount of time. We do ask that you keep our family in your prayers during this uncertain time. We also ask that you pray for the nation of Venezuela during this pivotal election. The results of tomorrow's elections will have impact on the entire world! Below is a picture of just one of the many rallies held in Venezuela during the recent months. This particular picture is amazing to us because it was taken by local reporters here in the city we live in on thursday, October 4, 2012.

We will keep everyone posted over the next few days as I know we have many family & friends that are concerned & want to make sure we are safe.  As of now, all is peaceful & many business are closed tomorrow & monday to allow the people to vote & keep them off the streets in case of protests & riots. So rest assured that we will be staying home & enjoying some time together as a family. The boys always enjoy a chance for Mom to make yummy treats & Dad to watch old McGyver episodes & eat popcorn.

Thank you all for your continued support & prayers!
