We have been blessed to meet many people & make many new friends in our time here in Barquisimeto. Pictured here are our friends Morlene and her 3 daughters, Yoneksi, Yoselin, & Yinet. I know those names seem a little different. The "Y" is pronounced like we would say "J". Now maybe that will help you when you pronounce them in your head. We had a great evening visiting with them & the boys loved showing off for all of those ladies. (ha ha) It was a fun evening of culture as the boys showed off their spanish speaking skills & we ate Mexican styled food. The food here is nothing like Mexican food but the ladies tried it in style. I did let them sample some of my southern sweet tea & NONE of them liked it!!! I guess you just have to be from the south... well I guess in this case, from the North! The boys even introduced their new friends to the world of Veggie Tales with spanish subtitles of course! It was a great evening!
