Our past several months have been filled speaking engagements in various churches. For those of you that know Chris... he loves to travel, loves to preach & speak, and loves to eat new foods. He has truly been in his element because he has gotten to do all 3! In this photo Chris is preaching at a church in Urichiche. It is a growing church that has a passion for out reach in their community. This church is in a state filled with much witch craft & voodoo so we know this church will be a blessing for this community.
I told the pastor that I was especially pleased with the "pink" church. I knew my friends would never believe that I actually had found a pink church! Also during our travels we have been blessed in the area of food. Each time the kids & I travel with Chris we have received foods that our kids enjoyed. Nothing strange or too out there. However, when Chris travels alone he has had quite an experience. He has had baby crocodile as well as "Chigüiri", a large sort of rat that is common in this area. He also had some interesting fish & since he & Isaiah were the guests... They got the head & tail. When no one was looking Chris switched with Isaiah so that Isaiah would have the tail. He didn't think Isaiah was ready for the eyeballs just yet! Everyday is an experience & a reminder of how blessed we are. It is nice ti know we are where God wants us to be!
