We were invited today to attend the church of the presbyter of the state we live in. His daughter also works for Chris at Global. The church meets in 2 rooms of a "centro comercial". Simply put, it is like meeting in 2 small shops that are part of a strip mall. Chris attended the service while I went with the kids to help them get settled. It was a great experience & our kids enjoyed the time to play. Afterwards we were invited to the house of one of the ladies in the church along with the pastor & his family & the guest evangelist & his family as well. The food that the pastor selected was in honor of our kids. They provided fried chicken, french fries, oriental rice & noodles. Each dish was selected with purpose since they knew that Imanuel loved rice, Ian loved noodles, & All 3 loved chicken & fries. The kids were very excited & we were honored that they were concerned enough to find food that would make our children happy. The pastor told me that next time we would have arepas, since that is the Venezuelan food of choice! He is quite the character!
